As a small, family-run business rooted in faith, beauty, and care for the people we serve. Every item we offer is chosen with intention, and every order represents a real person on the other side of the screen.

While we hope you love what you receive, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. When that happens, our goal is to treat you with the same patience, kindness, and respect we’d want for our own family, and to help you through the return process as simply and easily as possible.

Our Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, we’re unfortunately unable to accept returns or issue refunds.

To get started, please email us at orders@houseofjoppa.com with your order number. Contacting us first helps ensure nothing gets lost or delayed.

IMPORTANT: Please don’t mail items back before reaching out, as all returns require authorization.

What Can Be Returned

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

Some items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards

  • Sale items

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

In certain situations, a partial refund may be issued, such as when an item is returned in a condition different from how it was received.

How Returns Work

Once you contact us, we’ll create a Return Authorization (RMA) and email you simple, step-by-step instructions along with a return label.

We’ll ask you to:

  • Repack the item securely in its original condition

  • Include the RMA number inside the package so we can process your return quickly

As soon as your return arrives, we’ll take it from there.

Refunds & Store Credit

(You choose what works best for you)

Store Credit

If you choose store credit, we cover the return shipping for you. There’s no cost to use the return label, and the full value of your item will be issued as store credit once the return is processed.

Refund

If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, you’re welcome to use the provided return label. In this case, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment and typically appear within a few business days, depending on your bank.

A Note on Size & Style Changes

We don’t process direct exchanges. Instead, we handle these as two separate steps: returning the item you don’t want and purchasing the item you’d like instead.

Because some of our items have limited inventory, we often recommend placing your new order at the same time for the new or different style/size to make sure it doesn’t sell out, then you can send back your return as time allows without missing out on your replacement.

We don’t process direct exchanges. We handle returns and new purchases separately.

Why do you recommend buying the replacement item first?
Some items sell out quickly. Purchasing first helps secure inventory while your return is in transit.

Shipping & Processing

Is return shipping free?
Yes, if you choose store credit. If you choose a refund, return shipping is deducted from the refund.

Can I use my own shipping method?
We strongly recommend using the label we provide so your return can be tracked and processed smoothly.

Do you refund original shipping costs?
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Timing & Issues

When will my refund or store credit be issued?
Within a few business days after your return is received and inspected.

What if my refund seems delayed?
Check with your bank or card provider first. If you still have questions, email us and we’ll gladly look into it.

What if I lost my return label or RMA?
No problem. Just reach out and we’ll resend it.

Gifts & Damaged Items

Can I return a gift?
Yes. Gifts marked as such receive store credit once returned.

What if the item arrived damaged or defective?
Please email us photos and your order number. We’ll take care of it.
