A truly beautiful item. This is a quality piece.

My only complaint is the crucifix fits loosely into the the base, so it can be difficult to make sure it is not lopsided. I understand the description explains it rests in the base, but I expected it to rest a bit more snugly. Ultimately, it’s not enough of an issue to take a star off the review. It stays in one spot so it doesn’t get moved often, so it’s not like I have to constantly adjust it.

Knowing what I do about the base, I would absolutely still repurchase it and highly recommend the item to others.

I received the craved wooden crucifix with base as a gift a couple ofbyears ago and love it. It's beautiful and can be hung or sat on a table with the base. I purchased one for a friend for her bridal shower. I'm sure I'll be buying more to give as gifts.

Beautiful but wobbly as a tabletop crucifix. Detail is ornate but doesn’t not appear to be handmade. Over priced in my opinion.

This is exactly what I had been looking for in a crucifix. I waited for it to be in sick again several weeks. Perfect addition to my prayer area.

I bought this crucifix after searching for a Confirmation gift for my brother in law. My husband was his sponsor and really wanted something nice! He loved the crucifix. It is such great quality. The price is great considering the size and it being real wood! We may buy another for our own home or for my husband’s office at work since it can stand. I would 100% recommend this crucifix!

This is such a beautiful cross ,when I first saw it ,it was sold out.As soon as it was available I ordered it and was so surprised ,it was nicer than the picture.

Love it but, the crucifix does not fit very well in the base. Topples over a lot.

I’m not much for doing reviews, but I really love the crucifix. I copied the image to my iPad before I bought it, thought it looked beautiful there; thus I ordered it, and found that the icon lived up to the computer image, so to speak. Since I have limited mobility and am confined to a lift chair and a hospital bed in my home, I had a good friend put the crucifix on a bookshelf where I could see it when I looked up. The crucifix thus continually leads me to consider the meaning of His suffering and my own. Since I am frequently, as T. S. Eliot wrote somewhere, “distracted from distraction by distraction” (one of the 4 Quartets, I think), this material image rather powerfully refocuses my attention for the moment back to what I consider to be central in my life, Christ the Lord. However, as Charles Williams frequently quoted: “This also is Thou, neither is this Thou,” an important qualification to consider.
