King Cake is a Mardi Gras tradition

I’ve never heard of a king cake for Epiphany…I first became aware of king cakes for Mardi Gras…celebrated before Lent begins. The person who gets the baby Jesus has to bring the king cake the following year. Either way it’s a nice tradition.

I ordered this kit to use for the epiphany with my kids. Its cute. I thought it came with a recipe card to make an actual kings cake from scratch though.
